Project covers topo surveys, soil investigations and geotechnical studies, preparation of bidding documents including working drawings, technical specifications, administrative specifications, unit price proposal sheets, unit price analysis sheets and import material lists. GEMAŞ has also carried out the construction supervision and inspection services at the job site.
1. ARCHITECTURAL/STRUCTURAL WORKS (1750 m2)
Avionics Workshop is designed in a “box within a box” configuration, where the outer box consists of a protective buster barrier which is 1.95 m thick, reinforced BS55 concrete.
2- CB PROTECTION SYSTEM
Avionics Workshop is pressurized to avoid the entrance of contaminated particles from outside. There is a positive pressure difference between the rooms and the pressure level is higher at the innermost zones. At the entrance to the facility, a CB Decontamination Area is designed which enables the cleaning of the personnel from chemical/biological contaminants and also permits the disposal of contaminated outfits. Fresh air from outside is filtered by CB filters before getting into the air-conditioning system.
3-MECHANICAL WORKS
Sanitary Installation: Domestic hot water is supplied by 2 ea domestic hot water generators, which are provided with electric heating coils. Hot water system contains supply and return lines equipped with recirculation pumps. Heat insulation is provided for all hot water lines.
