The  project consists of the design of a CALA Apron, Aircraft Parking Apron, Arm/Disarm Pad, Access Taxiway, High Power Pad, Tow way, Hangars, Hangar Approach Apron, Containerized Working Units (CWUs), and Containerized Living Units (CLUs).   The new 106.000 m2 wide CALA apron is capable of supporting a variety of aircraft munitions operations as well as parking for aircraft.  The CALA apron will be fully surrounded by a 7.5 meter wide asphalt shoulder and an 11 meter wide paved asphalt dust control surface.

Aircraft Parking Apron measuring approximately 25.000 m2 will constructed as PCC pavement with space for 8 strike aircraft parking spots complying with the dimensions provided in the RFP.  The Aircraft Parking Apron will be constructed adjacent to the west edge of the CALA apron.  The Aircraft Parking Apron will include a 7.5 meter wide asphalt shoulder and an 11 meter wide paved asphalt dust control surface.

8.700 m2 PCC pavement Hangar Approach Apron has been designed to support the 3 proposed tension fabric hangars. The Hangar Approach Apron includes 3.75 meter wide shoulders and a paved asphalt area for GSE parking and access to the CLU and CWU.

The P-943 Parallel Taxiway Extension project will extend the existing Parallel Taxiway E to the east to connect to the proposed CALA Taxiway to improve traffic flow and safety on the airfield.
