Hawler Airport which is planned for 1.5 million passengers per year is located at Erbil in North Iraq. Concept Design belongs to “Scott Wilson Kirkpatrick & Co. Ltd.” and detailed designs of all facilities, except the Main Terminal and VIP Terminal buildings were prepared by GEMAS and Yalcin Teknik Inc. A/E services include architectural civil/structural, mechanical (HVAC and sanitary), electrical (LV and weak current), force protection and fire protection designs. Some of the facilities within the scope of works are as follows:
Operations Block (1312 m2), Control Tower (325 m2), Fire Station (853 m2), Cargo Building (3640 m2), Airport Maintenance Building (480 m2), Apron Equipment Shelter (572 m2), – Sewage Collection & Sewage Treatment Plant, Fuel Farm (3×800 m3)
