GEMAS responsibility for Sabiha Gokcen Aircraft Hydrant Fueling Systems covers topo surveys and preparation of 35%, 95% and 100% design drawings, technical specifications, BOQs and cost estimates, design analysis reports and engineering calculations. Design is prepared by GEMAS together with German firms CEGELEC and PMV-DE. All facilities are designed in accordance with the relevant API, ASTM, ANSI and NFPA Standards. A summary of the scope of works is as follows:

– Manifold/Filter and Pump Station, Truck Refuelling Station
– PE Coated Main Steel Pipelines, 20”, 16”, 14” and 10”
– PE Coated Hydrant Pipelines, 6”
– Cathodic Protection of the Pipelines
– Aircraft Hydrant Refueling Pits on the Apron
– High Points and Low Points, Jet Fuel Dispensers (6 each)
– TAB (Testing, Adjusting and Balancing) Works
– SCADA System, Test Rigs
– Valve Chambers with Motor Controlled DBB Valves
